So I haven't updated for awhile. So much has happened. For a start, I'm back at Berkeley. Flying here was full of adventures: long line, my name not matching w/ the ticket, getting stopped for my laptop not being checked, & a 2 hour delay. But I got here safe so no problemz.
As for classes, classes are good. Well, 2 of them. ]
As for the floormates, its actually been cool. 3 nites ago, i think, we all ate together at the dc. Well, not all. But like 1/2 the floor was there. Which also gave life to the CHURRO CHALLENGE. Remember 40 Days, 40 Nights? Hah. We have that bet. on what day trisha would crack & *eat churros*. funny.
Last nite, we had a movie marathon til 3 am. But it was actually cool. First was Meet the Parents, then Panic Room, then One Hour Photo. A REALLY DISTURBING MOVIE. but you know me. DISTURBING = HELLA GOOD!

Last week was the so cal meet w/ floormates. they came down on saturday, jan. 04, but didnt go down to san diego til jan. 06. siu & po kai stayed w/ me, & niochole stayed at her friend's at ucsd.
so all-in-all, here's what we did:
in SAN DIEGO:
.ucsd.l&l.belmont park.seaport village. green tea house. plaza bonita. mission valley (to watch chicago). watch elimidate (siu's new obsession).
in LA:(me, siu, nichole, po kai, mike, trisha, james. plus chau)
yorba linda (trisha's). downtown disney. santa monica. chau's. magic mountain. movie nite.
all in all, it was fun.

This whole week has been NOTHING BUT FUN. seriously.
Sunday, Dec. 29- ate @ Todai w/ family.
Monday, Dec. 30- We mobbed Downtown w/ the posse. Horton Plaza. Car Antique Place. Starbucks @ Downtown. Hard Rock Cafe. Hustler's.
Tuesday, Dec. 31- Spent New Year's Eve @ Chassie's house w/ Chas, Jhet, & Jaysun. We were bored but it was cool just chilling & chitchatting. We also watched Harold & Maude.
Wednesday, Jan. 1- New Years. Had a get-together w/ friends. It was cool. Thanks for those who came. Thanks to those who called/left a voicemail/ texted/im-ed/ those who gave presents/ those who came. Even the late greetings. EVERYTHING. Thanks.

Thursday, Jan. 02-Swimming @ Ronnie's. Thanks Ronnie for letting us invite ourselves again & thanks for feeding us.
Friday, Jan. 03 - Watched Ducks @ Eastlake w/ mae, eliza, & gerino. Then off to the coffee house.
At nite, chilled @ Mae's. Then mobbed STARBUCKS w/ the POSSE. Then raided Eli's house til 130 in the morning watching Harold & Maude & an old video that we did. That is so hilarious. I forgot about the DONT GO BREAKING MY HEART ROUTINE.

Swimming on ICE COLD WATER when the weather is cold is not a good idea. We would know. Hah.
yesterday, we went swimming @ ronnie's pad. We drove 30-something miles (one way) expecting the pool would be heated, but guess what? it wasnt. haha. his sister lied to him. The water was FREEZING COLD. It was as if someone put a MILLION ICE CUBES IN THE WATER. But being the ghetto people that we are, we jumped in anyways. Esp. ronnie & eli. they were in the water most of the time.

so after drying off, me & eli decided to jump in again. right when we were about to jump, ronnie pushed us in the pool. funny.
.and.
Chassie, on the other hand, was being a nerd/dork/geek. everyone jumped in the pool except her.
then we watched some movies. haha. did you know there's an award show for pornos? we were watching this award show, and they were showing clips of the movie. But unlike regular award shows where they show like a 5-10 second clip of each movie, that show was crazy. haha. more like a 20 minute clip. haha.

then we ate at pat & oscars. chas had MAGIC WATER, which she later spilled. we were so loud in there that people were looking at us. that plus theres this *SCARY* waitress. haha. okay. bye.

yesterday was cool. watched Lord of the Rings. good movie. I think its better than the first one. Can't wait for the third installment.

So what am I doing updating this website when I have finals to study for? Beats me.
Anyway, sorry for I havent updated in so long. I havent updated this page and my blog. Just hold on, one more week and you'll have a month-long update (which will probably take you a week to read). so yeah.
The past days has been fun. serioulsy. So here's the highlights:
Friday.
** Chilling @ SF and forcing Jenn to buy sneakers (what? Jenn wearing sneakers? exactly.)
** pre-finals/ jenn's bday party. 10 shots and i was still sober. thats probably my highlight of my freshman year. then chillin with siu til 330 in the morning. edwin woke up too and ended up joining the conversation.
Saturday.
** Mission Iloilo benefit concert.
** After-party @ La Vals til 130 am.
** Afterparty AFTER the afterparty @ ria's haus til 4 am.
and now. im tired. And i need to study.
NOV. 23, 2002: BIG GAME
So I've been really busy the last week. Which is always a good thing. So what's been up?
Friday(15th): Drive down to Irvine.
Saturday(16th): UCI Kaba COnference. Kim picked me up. I can't thank you enough for doing that. You didn't have to, and still you did. That just shows how lucky I am to have a friend like you.
And when I got home, I got to go home. I was home for about 5 hours, then headed back to Irvine.
Sunday(17th): Thanks again, Kim, Auntie, & Jimmy. Then California Coalition for Pilipino Studies. Then went back to Berkeley.
Monday(18th): Nutri Sci presentations. Interns Mtng. PASOC Group Meeting. Meteor shower-watching/star gazing with the floormates til 4 am.
Tuesday(19th):laundry.
Wed (20th): PASOC Potluck @ Jonas. Intern-Run Meeting. Set-up for ONE MIC. ONE MIC til 11 pm.
Thurs (21st): ONE Picture. COMPASS Meeting. HOT CHICK & get to see Rob Schneider & Auntie (her mom).
Fri(22nd): Senior Show. PRACTICE Freshman Gathering til 1 am.
Sat(23rd):BIG GAME. Kicked Stanfurd's Ass. Sadies later?
and that's how my week went. Thank you.
Nov. 11: Veteran's Day
So what am I doing updating this website when I have a midterm to study for? Hah. I don't know. Beats me. But all I know is that I'm getting obsessed with this website. So I won't take so much time to update this coz I need to get back to *studying* (whatever that is- looking at people's pages, blogs, etc.). But I just wanna write something about what went on tonite.
Tonite was fun. The dorms are getting back to normal- meaning getting back to the usual rowdy-ness & no more moments of solitude & eerie quietness.
First off was dinner @ the dc with some floormates. Then off to celebrate Katy's bday, which I might say was a SUCCESS. Then for some odd reason, some *caking* went on, courtesy of Siu. She wasn't satisfied getting Katy, so she got me too. So, you know it's on. I had to get her. And I did. Waiting in the bathroom for some time with cake in my face finally paid off. She got out from the shower stall and BAM! Cake right smack in her face. AND THEN, to make matters worse, James came with his shaving cream. And the rest, is history. I guess you know what happened. One word of advice: shaving cream is nasty-tasting.
So... on another note, I have midterms tomorrow. Midterms for Stats. Gimme the damn midterms so I can get over with it, and you will see me jumping around the halls due to my complete excitement of getting done with that shit. Then after that is the Poli Sci term paper, and I'm good to go (home, that is). So I'll get back to you tomorrow, and you'll be amazed by a gripload of updates.. pictures, thoughts, songs, blah. That's if I dont get lazy.
